Nada de novo na Frente Ocidental levou para casa o maior prêmio do BAFTA (British Academy of Film and Television Arts) Film Awards deste ano, realizado na manhã de segunda-feira, em Londres, ganhando o de Melhor Filme e outros seis prêmios. Garantindo prêmios de Melhor Diretor e Melhor Roteiro Adaptado, entre outros, o filme anti-guerra alemão estabeleceu um novo recorde na cerimônia, tornando-se o primeiro filme em língua não inglesa a garantir sete troféus. O Cinema Paradiso de 1988 anteriormente detinha esse recorde com cinco BAFTAs. A mais recente comédia negra irlandesa de Martin McDonagh, The Banshees of Inisherin, ficou em segundo lugar com quatro prêmios, incluindo melhor roteiro original e indicações de desempenho coadjuvante para Barry Keoghan e Kerry Condon.
Seguindo as recentes tendências de premiação, Cate Blanchett foi coroada a Melhor Atriz Principal, por sua atuação marcante em Tár.
